We appreciated your past affiliation with this serious issue, but please do not continue to clog our WWW listing with other important news for your readers in NH!
Manny Gonzales is a serious issue that needs every one involved to either list the proper information in relation to this national issue,or please find more suitable locations to find interested readers in your great WWW site.

Re: Does New Hamshire Independant remember the Manny Gonzales story?

Since I am the site editor who took down the Manny Gonzales article, please let me explain.

Our site's editorial policy states that articles reposted on 10 or more other sites will be removed. Since the Manny Gonzales article has been reposted across the web, I removed it per this policy. The goal of this policy is to create space for locally-produced content.

My decision about this did not have anything to do with Manny Gonzales' no doubt unjust imprisonmemt. I would encourage those interested to read about his story at LA Indymedia.

I'll start a discussion with the Editorial Collective to see what they think.

Re: Re: Does New Hamshire Independant remember the Manny Gonzales story?

As another site editor, I support Rob's decision.

Like Rob wrote, we remove reposts in order to allow for more local content on the site. This policy also keeps NH IMC from becoming homogeneous with other IMC sites. We don't remove reposts because of their content, and we delete many good articles under this policy. However, since we prohibited reposts two years ago, our site has become more locally oriented and a better tool for the local community.

While we don't find and remove every article reposted to our site, we remove reposts all the time. In fact, I removed another IMC repost just a few minutes before seeing this discussion thread.

Re: Re: Does New Hamshire Independant remember the Manny Gonzales story?

Thank you Rob for all your support, and one day Americas Middle Class and Working Poor Americans
will all be able to look back on this injustice and laugh about how the WWW free speech enjoyed on all of the Indy Media sites world wide was able to assist in bringing future Congressional legislation assisting the tens of thousands of falsely imprisoned American citizens across America their proper legal representation
in our US Federal Courts of Appeal.
Manny Gonzales is the Poster Child example of 100,000 in this country who are in need of federal appeal legal counsel, and if forced to write their own legal cases, are destined to stay falsely imprisoned for 20 or 25 more years! Rob,Federal Appeal lawyers are currently only for wealthy Americans to benefit from, and we are here lobbying for the rights of all Americans to utilize our US Federal Appeal judicial system properly, not just the guilty affluent!

Re: Does New Hamshire Independant remember the Manny Gonzales story?

Rob,
We at Lawyers For Poor Americans really do appreciate your past support in carrying the comments for the Manny Gonzales national federal appeal issue found on la.indymedia.com and only are suggesting since you no longer can carry these comments, that you vacate your two positions on the Google listings domain where others are involved and interested in joining in with the US Congressional neglect and abuse issue of our American Middle Class and Working Poor Americans to receive federal appeal legal counsel. Please understand by your continued posting in this arena as if you still are involved with the Manny Gonzales case on your domain listings, is very confusing to all the other people entering the site. Thanks for all your help in this matter Rob
and we hope our paths will cross one day in the future.Your site was very gracious in affording this national issue the valuable space you did, and we know your readers are more interested in possible local issues so we part your company with much appreciation and thanks.

Re: Re: Does New Hamshire Independant remember the Manny Gonzales story?

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to remove our listings from Google searches, as these listings do not reside on our server. They are maintained by Google.

Thank you for your understanding regarding our need to create space for local issues. We wish you the best of luck in your struggle.

WHEN THE US CONGRESS DENIED THE MASSES OF AMERICANS THEIR POSSIBLE FREEDOMS !

WHEN THE US CONGRESS DENIED THE MASSES OF AMERICANS THEIR POSSIBLE FREEDOMS !
USA VOLUNTEERS lawyersforpooramericans (at) yahoo.com
424-247-2013

Currently there are reported to be 100,000 falsely imprisoned Americans living along with the estimated 2,000,000 US prison population nationwide.America now has the very unique distinction of not only being rated the #1 in the World for having the largest prison population, but America also has the distinct rating of having the largest wrongfully imprisoned prison population in the World as well. Our US Congress affords themselves all the perks and salary most Americans could only dream about, but ask anyone of these Leaders Of The Free World to protect our Middle Class or Working Poor Americans from continuing to be falsely imprisoned endless decades due to the lack of federal appeal legal counsel being afforded them, and you just might be thought of as being crazy? The masses of the American people could never come close to ever being able to burden these federal appeal legal costs for themselves or for a family member, and should not need a lobbying group for this basic right of legal protection to be afforded them! Our Poster Child of this exact neglect by our US Congress is this young man named Manny Gonzales.Anyone interested in reading first hand how our US Congress is willing to allow our judicial system to continue keeping this now 21 year old young man imprisoned for 27 mandatory years for frightening someone with a hand gun(not even injuring the so called victim,) without affording him federal appeal legal counsel to properly be able to defend himself in our Federal courts of Appeal? Manny Gonzales The kid that everyone forgot in the CA prison system can be entered into any WWW search engine for the judicial ride of ones life! Tens of thousands of other Americans being imprisoned in the US are facing this same lack of legal counsel everyday, and with this lack of legal counsel being denied their right to new retrials, which in turn forces many of them to remain endless decades in the prison systems of the wealthiest country in the world!Just like the German people prior WW2,the American people and our National Media have not felt any concern or interest to speak out about about our country having so many of our fellow Middle Class and Working Poor citizens being falsely imprisoned and not even being afforded the proper Federal Appeal legal counsel to assist in their attempt at exonerating themselves!
We thank all of you Worldwide who have also had a concern and are interested with this injustice being changed in the American judicial system for assisting all of us(who are also just interested volunteers ourselves)with your time and computer skills in posting this article on the WWW anywhere you think it might make positive change!

FORGOTTEN MIDDLE CLASS & WORKING POOR AMERICANS !

No $$$ No Justice
No Lobby,No US Senate Assistance !
No $$ & No Lobby = !00,000 innocent American Citizens being Falsely imprisoned !
Most Americans are well aware that there are plenty of innocent poorer US citizens in our prison systems nationwide, but very few of us have ever heard about our US Congressional representatives denying the middle class and working poor Americans proper legal counsel for their federal appeals. If One were charged with a federal crime all legal costs are paid for,but when one is charged in the various states and run out of state appeal opportunities and need to appeal to the Federal Courts,it appears that inmates are left to their own best lawyering skills to attempt to write a federal appeal that could sway a US Federal judge to grant a new retrial.
These Congressional Representatives sleep soundly every night knowing there are reported to be an estimated 100,000 innocent Americans residing in our US Prisons who have been denied proper legal counsel to help them with their Federal Appeals for new retrials???

We really did enjoy our visit together !

Rob,we will have a very difficult time explaining to our partners lobbying this effort how and why you past listings which were fantastic in content all of a sudden vanished with no prior notice to any of us,and again today were edited again where certain comments will never bee seen by the public at large. This partnership has become difficult on both sides and maybe the best thing for everyone concerned is just to part company. It appears that
our affiliation with la indy media, and indy media
should be more then enough coverage and thanks so much for your past and future help and please
delete your NH copy from our Manny Gonzales domain area.

Will The US Congress Support The Innocent ?

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE $LOWLY FINDING OUT HOW EA$Y IT I$ FOR MIDDLE CLA$$ AND WORKING POOR AMERICAN$ TO FALL VICTIM TO OUR U$ MONETARY JUDICIAL $Y$TEM.

WHEN THE US INNOCENT ARE ABANDONED BY THE GUILTY! The prison experts have reported that there are 100,000 innocent Americans currently being falsely imprisoned along with the 2,300,000total US prison population nationwide.

Since our US Congress has never afforded poor prison inmates federal appeal legal counsel for their federal retrials, they have effectively closed the doors on these tens of thousands of innocent citizens ever being capable of possibly exonerating themselves to regain their freedom through being granted new retrials.

This same exact unjust situation was happening in our Southern States when poor and mostly uneducated Black Americans were being falsely imprisoned for endless decades without the needed educational skills to properly submit their own written federal trial appeals.

This unjust judicial process of making our poor and innocent prison inmates formulate and write their own federal appeal legal cases for possible retrials on their state criminal cases,is still in effect today even though everyone in our US judicial system knows that without proper legal representation, these tens of thousands of innocent prison inmates will be denied their rightful opportunities of ever being granted new trials from our federal appeal judges!!

Quote-of-the-Moment

I say we take the oil. I don't think people realize the super-crisis mode the North Country is in. When you talk about the cost of fuel oil and how it hits a family, our average family income is half what it is down in southern New Hampshire.
-- Republican Sen. John Gallus on 'controversy' of accepting oil assistance for low income people from Citgo and the socialist government of Venezuela.
